COEUS XI LTD is pleased to announce that the scientific paper titled “Designing and Evaluating Voice-Based Interaction for Human-Drone Collaboration” has been accepted for presentation at the ICHORA 2026 conference.

The paper presents a real-world evaluation of voice-based interaction techniques for human-drone collaboration in agricultural environments. The research explores how voice-controlled drone interfaces can support non-technical users, enabling more natural and accessible interaction with unmanned aerial vehicles during field inspection tasks.

The study combines usability analysis, eye-tracking data, performance metrics, and user feedback collected during experiments conducted in real agricultural conditions. The findings demonstrate the potential of voice-based interfaces to reduce physical effort and improve accessibility for professional users in smart farming scenarios.

The work was carried out through the collaboration of researchers from COEUS, the University of Patras (Greece) and the University of Mouloud Mammeri (Algeria), contributing to ongoing research in Human–Drone Interaction, intelligent interfaces, and precision agriculture.

COEUS continues to support innovative research and development activities focusing on immersive technologies, intelligent systems, and next-generation interaction methods for real-world applications.
